A personal project

Now and then I mention aspects of a personal project we are working on with respect to our personal dwelling. In 2007 we purchased some property East of Seattle and hired Tom Kundig of Olson Kundig Architects to design a private residence for our family. This is a project of a lifetime and the collaboration of art and craft with the architects, contractors and numerous individuals has been well chronicled on Dwell.com and our blog about maxonhouse over at maxonhouse.com The project is 100% about design in its purest and simplest state. We invite you to follow us on facebook or check out our blog or catch up on the first 26 weeks of the blog we authored for dwell. A project of this scope takes time (approximately five years from time or site purchase to breaking ground. There are many considerations from site to building the project team, making critical design decisions, etc. We look forward to continuing to share our story and will update this page with some exciting future announcements regarding maxon house moving forward.
