MTV new logo branding

What the h#!l happened here? MTV was once a strong brand now I think its honestly a bit of a joke stuck in a time warp. Nobody cares or watches MTV do they? As someone who grew up in the era of MTV is sure is a brand left in the dust. The new logo is a bit more progressive but a logo itself can't solve a damaged and diminished brand. Time to take the TV out of MTV its a multichannel world folks.
