miniatures

Creating micro-sets to illustrate a concept is an art and a skill. Back in my editorial days we'd resource model train props, kits, etc. to illustrate concepts. I think I speak for a lot of folks who like to control the outcome of creative when I say that making miniatures is just addicting. I've made scale train world's with my kids and for covers of magazines. I recently ran across the artist lori nix who just did the smart home cover for time magazine. Wow. Amazing.
